The IRPM was launched by the Association of Residential Managing Agents (ARMA) in early 2002 as a means of delivering a portable professional qualification in residential property management.

We are proud to announce that the majority of Grant & Wilson’s Property Managers achieved this qualification in May 2010, passing with flying colours.

One of our Property Managers, Scott Robertson has been asked to attend an IRPM presentation in London to accept an award as he achieved the highest pass mark in Scotland. 

This qualification will ensure that we are as always, providing our customers and clients with a knowledgeable and professional service.

CATHERINE ALSTON  - A.R.P.M

PROPERTY ADMINISTRATION SUPERVISOR

                                         

Catherine has held various roles within the property industry over the last 16 years; she has sold residential property at G.S.P.C, Leased Commercial & Residential properties and has managed a large port folio of developments for Grant and Wilson for 9 years in and around Glasgow. Catherine has found having an H.N.C in Business Administration, being well organized and with forward planning has given her the skills and experience to manage this new and challenging role within Grant and Wilson.

LINDA McDOWELL

PROPERTY ADMINISTRATOR

                                       

Linda started her career as an office junior and over the years gained experience in various offices in and around Glasgow. Linda’s last role was a PA to the Directors in a large reputable Chartered Surveying office in Glasgow, though enjoying the daily role Linda felt she needed more challenges in her working day.  Linda has vast experience dealing predominately with the commercial Property Management, however with her aspect of the Property Industry Linda has embraced her new role with enthusiasm.

SCOTT ROBERTSON  - I.R.P.M

PROPERTY MANAGER

Scott initially started with Grant & Wilson in 2006 as a Trainee Property Manager and through hard work and determination now manages his own portfolio in and around Glasgow. In 2001 Scott achieved a Management degree from Glasgow Caledonian University and has recently enrolled in a Building Surveying Course, which Management at Grant and Wilson Ltd are delighted to fund and assist Scott in his further education and career progression. Scott enjoys many aspects of his Property Management role from dealing with individual clients to neighbourhood associations, and maintenance contactors. Every day brings Scott new and challenging tasks.

SHARON COSGROVE - I.R.P.M

PROPERTY MANAGER

Sharon’s first role within the Property Management Industry was as a junior debt recovery administrator, with her eagerness to learn Sharon completed various in - house training courses till she had learned enough to manage her own portfolio of property. Sharon has been with Grant & Wilson now for a couple of years and with her good communication and organization skills, Sharon manages a large portfolio of properties in and around Glasgow. Sharon is proud of what she has achieved and has proven that she can address any issues that can arise on a daily bases, however her thirst for knowledge is still there and every day she feels she is learning something new.

CLARKE ELSBY

PROPERTY MANAGER

Clarke studied at the metropolitan college and achieved an HNC and HND in architectural conservation then went on to obtain his BSc in building surveying from Caledonian university. While at college he took on specialist architectural conservation labouring positions to build on his experience. Towards the end of university Clarke was offered an assistant surveying position within a small property maintenance company and later went on to become one of the surveyors for the business.

CAROLE LAIRD 

PROPERTY MANAGER

Having worked in the property industry for many years and having knowledge and experience in various roles, from Estate Agent to a Support Administrator and a Trainee Property Manager, Carole, however enjoys her job as a Property Manager the most. Her strong administration skills and her exceptional attention to detail allow her to be prepared for what each day brings. Carole has a port folio of 75 properties in and around Glasgow, and enjoys the communication and interaction with her work colleagues, clients and contractors.

FAYE HARMEY 

PROPERTY MANAGER

                              

Faye Harmey achieved a BA Honors Degree in Business at the University of the West of Scotland in 2008. Faye started her career in the Property Sector in 2009 managing large city centre property developments in Glasgow, Faye found that working in the property sector was what she wanted to further her career in. The busy fast pace environment, customer service and the challenges that every day  brought was what gave Faye her enthusiasm and coupled with her excellent communication skills, Faye has become an excellent addition to the Property Management team.

ALLAN MacLEAN 

PROPERTY MANAGER

 

In 2006 Allan obtained a BA in Business Information Management and after a short spell as an Assistant Surveyor in 2008, Allan made the decision to move into the customer service sector of the property industry and secured a position as a Property Manager with a reputable Property Management company in Glasgow. Allan joined the team at Grant and Wilson in July 2011 and really enjoys providing customer service to our owner/occupiers and Residents Associations. Allan is excited about his new position within Grant and Wilson.
